Workshop Offerings

Below you will find class offerings, descriptions and pricing.
These are all beginner friendly workshops.

Please note that the fees listed below are my take home fees for time, materials, travel/TRansport, kiln firing costs and additional work that takes place after the workshop has ended. if you are taking a percentage cost of registration price, please add that on top of my fee.

I will do my best to ensure the safe transport of work from and to your space. However, If student work breaks anywhere in the process of finishing, I will try my best to repair it, but I cannot GUARANTEE that i can repair it completely. I cannot refund fees for broken work.

CANDLESTICK HOLDER

Students will be taught a couple of simple hand building techniques on how to create the basic form, and the rest is truly up to their imagination. Students can make up to two candlestick holders.

All materials provided. 2-3 weeks until ready for pick up.

2 hr Workshop $75/person

MUG & SNACK TRAY

Students will be utilizing templates and clay slabs to hand build their very own ceramic mug and snack tray set. Students will learn how to form a mug body with the help of a mold, how to make and attach a handle and, finally, how to form a plate.

All materials provided. 2-3 weeks until ready for pick up.

3 hr Workshop $100/person

ORACLE COOKIES

In this class, students will be hand building fortune cookies that utilize NFC stickers (stickers with a little programmable microchip). Hover your smartphone over the fortune cookie with the sticker inside to generate a random fortune! Students can make up to 2 oracle cookies

2 hr Workshop $75/person

PIPE & ASHTRAY

Students will be taught basic handbuilding techniques to make & decorate their own pipe and ashtray set.

3 hr Workshop $100/person

CANDLE WALL SCONCE

A wall sconce is a lovely, way to add some candle light to your space. It brings the warmth of a candle with the depth of a wall mounted piece, while freeing up table space for other things. In this class, students will be utilizing, templates, clay slabs and pinch pot techniques to form and construct a wall mounted sconce.

All materials provided. 2-3 weeks until ready for pick up.

2 hr Workshop $75/person

RE-WRITABLE GARDEN LABELS

Students will be painting their own fun & colorful ceramic garden stakes using underglaze paints, pencils and chalk! Each garden stake will then be clear glazed which will allow each stake to be re-writeable. Just write the plant name with sharpie and erase it with a little rubbing alcohol, ready to be re-used next season.

Each student will receive five ready-to-decorate ceramic plant stakes.
