The Notte pipe is my attempt at creating a little scene or diorama using the pipe form (in my typical minimalist way). It is a testament that all you really need to make something a pipe is a bowl, a stem and a mouthpiece & anything around it is up to you. For this piece, I used the stem to create the frame and the bowl is the moon. The steps in the center is a decorative and architectural element that gives the piece a sense of place. I like to think of it as either a building, a front porch or a stoop.

Enjoy this pipe by sitting outside on a warm evening, and looking up at the night sky.

Materials: White glaze on speckled stoneware.All materials used are food safe and non-toxic.

Approximately 4”x 4”. Your piece will arrive with a care card.
